Mahmuda Islam is a dedicated Mechatronics Engineering student at Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Bangladesh. As the stage officer for TEDxRUET 2024, she oversees the stage design and atmosphere, having also led the auditorium decoration for MTE Night in both 2023 and 2024. Her creative talents earned her the Best Public Relations Activist award at TEDxRUET 2023, where she was the graphic designer, along with a certification recognizing her design skills. Mahmuda’s passion extends beyond creativity to technical excellence. She placed second in the Robotronics 2.0 Line Following Contest, won the RUET Poster Presentation Competition, and reached the semifinals of the Hult Prize competition. In 2024, she completed a one-month industrial training with the electrical team at GPH Ispat, further enhancing her engineering expertise. She was also awarded Best Designer at RSR 2024 and received a 70% scholarship for the ISCEA Ptak Prize Global Case Competition in 2023. Mahmuda’s unique blend of engineering knowledge and artistic vision sets her apart, and she strives to leave a lasting impact in both fields.
